Google Finance

1. Before start
In order to start working ProTrader MultiStation with GoogleFinance please make sure that you have done following:

Download and install latest version of ProTrader MultiStation from official website of PFSoft, read manual if you did not made it before. Your version will be updated automatically after each launching.

Open demo account or real account if you are going to work with ProTrader MultiStation separately.
You do not need to register account in ProTrader MultiStation if you like to use service for GoogleFinance only.
 
 

 

 

2. Specific features of GoogleFinance over PT MultiStation

 GoogleFinance provides simple and free of using service for receiving historical data and quotes. Now we are working on additional features like: news, positions, account operations, transactions.

Service does not provides real time history, that's why you can use only weekly history or monthly history.

Quotations are not updating in real time mode.
 
 

 

As real time quotas are not available, ProTrader MultiStation requesting quotes with particular interval. Interval can be setup in connection settings.

3. Connection to GoogleFinance

There are two ways to connect to GoogleFinance over PT MultiStation: one server mode (in this case you  have access to history quotes and quotations) or separate mode (in this case you have access to history quotes OR GoogleFinance quotations or both using some of trade interface).

To connect to GoogleFinance history server over PT MultiStation, please, follow:

1. Run PT MultiStation and select GoogleFinance from available connections.

2. Create a connection using any trade server and select  history/quote server - GoogleFinance.
